WINEMAKERS COMMENT

Produced folowing an ancient Gothic wine-making method whereby 20% ripe crushed grapes (in this case Reichensteiner & Siegerrebe) are fermented with the pressed juice. This improves, the aorma, body, texture and mouthfeel of light white wines to create a fuller-flavoured English Wine style. Fermentation not fully completed so as to achieve approx. 3g/l residual sugar. 'Stick-yeast' stirred weekly after berries removed and fermentation ended, to enhance body and character.

TASTING NOTES This special edition celebrates our 30th anniversary and was especially made from our 30 year old vines which are the oldest organic vines in the UK. It has an elegant, light character reminiscent of bramely apples with lemony, grassy flavours on the palate. Makes a perfect match with seafood. Drink a toast to the organic pioneers!
