WINEMAKERS COMMENT

Our 'Celebration' OLD VINE (Vieille Vigne) white made from grapes harvested exclusively from the original vines planted in1979. 20% ripe crushed grapes were fermented with the pressed juice to improve the body, texture and mouthfeel and create a fuller-flavoured English Wine style. Fermentation was fully completed so in order to achieve 4g/l residual sugar 1.6% by volume grape juice added, which reduced %vol alc. slightly.

TASTING NOTES This wine has an elegant, light character reminiscent of bramely apples with lemony, grassy flavours on the palate. Makes a perfect match with seafood. Drink a toast to the organic pioneers!
