NEW 2011 Regent (Biodynamic)
A ripe, smooth and full-bodied red from this superb vintage. Non-chapitalized and matured in barrique oak barrels. Smokey, fruity aromatics. Robust blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry fruit palate with ample tannin. Quite complex. Regent produces excellent fruit for red wine enabling us to produce a hot climate style of red in our cool northerly climate. We hand pick only the best bunches for this red and then de-stalk and crush and ferment 'on-the-pulp' for 10 days.

Matured in barrique oak. Juicy, fruit driven, ripe red colour with damson, plum and morello cherry on the nose. Medium bodied flavour of black cherries and raspberries, soft supple tannins, enhanced with oak complexity.
