Corymbus 2014 is a wine close to our hearts. Revered by our friends and critics alike this full bodied red recieved 89 Decanter Points in 2016 and won Silver in the Organic Wine Awards. It quickly sold out... or so we thought.
After a good year on the vines the grapes for Corymbus 2014 were extensively hand selected, ensuring only the very best bunches made the cut. After crushing and fermentation ‘on-the-pulp’ for 10 days this wine was barrel aged on site before being stored in our ageing room.
We had thought it was a distant memory but during construction of our new tasting room we discoved a very limited number of bottles that have been gently and beautifully ageing.
Savoury, spicy and complex this is a unique and rare expression of aged English red wine with excellent silky tannins and aromas of black pepper and roasted coffee. Fresh black fruit and black olives create a complex flavour profile. Full-bodied, exquisitely balanced with a trace of smokey oak and a dash of velvet tannin.
A great red to go with those luxuriant weightier dishes.
To give people a chance to taste this unique wine and because we have an extremely limited number of bottles we're limiting purchases to one case (6 wines) per order.
