A walk around the vineyard first & small woodland. If you are visiting outside summer then you might want to wear wellies / walking shoes for this part as we found it damp underfoot. Enjoyable half hour stroll with information posted along your walk. Then to the serious part. We enjoyed a good ploughmans lunch sitting outside in the Autumn sunshine and were then given a very informative half hour, maybe more, tasting session of six or seven wines. All in all an enjoyable, educational and fruitful two to three hours.

“A lovely treat!”
First of all, this place was wonderful value for money as we were using a voucher for 2 of us with wine tasting, self guided tour and afternoon tea.
On the website they say to get the bus from Hastings, however this bus is very sporadic. We'd have had to wait for 2 hours! So we got a taxi from the station, about £20 each way.
On arrival we were given a sheet and told which way to explore. I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes for outdoor walking. It wasn't a strenuous walk however. You could spend from 30 mins up to about an hour walking around, and the choice is yours.
The afternoon tea might be the best we've had. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, perhaps some might think limited in choice. Scones were definitely the best I've tasted. A nice selection of mini cakes too. Perfect amount.
We were given taster amounts of 5 different wines. Unfortunately we were given the last wine (red) during our meal and I don't think it went, so the taste was ruined slightly. We were also given 2 liqueurs to try.
The barn were the tastings take place is wonderfully decorated. A great atmosphere.
We were given a talk about the history of the place which was probably a highlight as we learnt a lot and took away some great information.
This was the first vineyard is been to. I would recommend this to friends.
